Qilai Cape Lighthouse
Built in 1931, the original Qilai Cape Lighthouse was a white square tower. It was heavily damaged during World War II by bombing from U.S. planes. In 1963, a white pentagonal reinforced concrete lighthouse was reconstructed nearby, making it the only pentagonal reinforced concrete lighthouse in Taiwan.
